GENESIS EVENT RENTAL-TERMS & CONDITIONS
Quote Request Requirements
To prepare your rental contract and generate an accurate quote, please ensure you submit the following details:
- Contact Information: Full name, phone number, and email address.
- Address Details: Home address (for billing) and the complete event venue address.
- Scheduling: Desired delivery date and requested delivery time window.
1. DELIVERY & PICKUP SERVICES
- Delivery and pickup services are available to event venues, garages, covered porches, tents, and loading docks.
- Delivery and pickup fees are based on the county, distance, location, and applicable fuel charges.
- Additional fees may apply when special delivery or pickup requirements are requested.
2. RENTAL PRICING & AVAILABILITY
- There is no minimum rental requirement.
- All rental items are subject to availability at the time the order is confirmed.
- Standard rental pricing is based on a single event rental period of three (3) days. Please contact our team for long-term or extended rental rates.
- All equipment is rented and provided in “AS IS” condition. Customers are responsible for inspecting the equipment upon delivery and notifying Genesis Event Rental immediately of any concerns.
3. ADDITIONAL FEES & SERVICES
Additional charges may apply for the following services or circumstances:
- Weekend deliveries or pickups.
- Specific or requested delivery/pickup time windows.
- Setup and breakdown services, when arranged in advance with the Genesis Event Rental team.
- Long carries: additional fees may apply when equipment must be carried more than 30 feet from the delivery vehicle.
- Stairs: additional fees may apply when equipment must be transported up or down more than three (3) steps.
- Additional labor, special handling, or access requirements may also result in additional charges.
Any applicable additional fees will be communicated to the customer whenever possible before delivery or pickup.
4. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
- The customer assumes responsibility for all rental equipment upon delivery and until pickup.
- Customers are responsible for inspecting all equipment immediately upon delivery. If any item is missing, damaged, defective, or appears unsafe, Genesis Event Rental must be notified immediately and before the event begins.
- No claims regarding missing, damaged, defective, or unsafe equipment will be accepted after the event has commenced.
- The customer is responsible for the proper and safe use of all rented equipment throughout the rental period.
- Genesis Event Rental shall not be held responsible for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from the improper, unsafe, or unauthorized use of rental equipment.
- All equipment must be returned in the same condition in which it was delivered, normal wear and tear excepted.
- Before pickup, all equipment must be clean, broken down, stacked neatly, and returned to the original delivery location.
- Failure to properly prepare equipment for pickup may result in additional labor or handling charges.
- Customers are responsible for any loss, damage, or excessive cleaning required beyond normal use. Additional charges will apply for damaged, lost, or excessively soiled equipment.

5. PAYMENT POLICY
- A 3% processing fee will be added to all payments made by credit or debit card.
- A 50% deposit of the total rental amount is required to confirm the rental contract and reserve the requested equipment for your event.
- The remaining 50% balance is due at least Seven (7) days prior to the scheduled delivery date.
- All orders must be paid in full no later than Seven (7) days before the scheduled delivery date stated in the rental contract.
- If the balance is not received by the required due date, Genesis Event Rental reserves the right to cancel the delivery and close the contract without refund.
- Equipment will not be delivered until the order has been paid in full.
6. UNUSED ITEMS POLICY
Once an order has been confirmed, all rental items are reserved exclusively for the customer and removed from our available inventory.
If any item included in the rental contract—such as **cutlery, glassware, plates, table linens, heaters, stoves, or other equipment—is not used because the customer chooses not to use it or no longer requires it, the rental charge remains due and no refund will be issued.
This policy applies because the reserved equipment was held exclusively for the customer's event and was therefore unavailable for rental to other customers.
7. CANCELLATION & ORDER CHANGES
Customers may request to remove items from their order or cancel the entire order. Cancellation and refund eligibility are determined based on the following schedule:
- 8 or more days before the scheduled delivery date: Cancellation may be made without a cancellation fee.
- 7 days before the scheduled delivery date: 50% of the total order amount becomes non-refundable.
- 3 days or less before the scheduled delivery date: 100% of the total order amount becomes non-refundable.
Cancellation deadlines are calculated based on the number of days before the earliest scheduled delivery of rental goods or commencement of services, as applicable.
Any changes to an order are subject to equipment availability and may be subject to the cancellation terms above.
8. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF TERMS
By signing the rental contract, submitting payment, or accepting delivery of rental equipment, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Genesis Event Rental reserves the right to apply reasonable additional charges when circumstances require additional labor, transportation, handling, cleaning, or equipment replacement beyond the services included in the original rental agreement.
